Plant Director / Factory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an elite Plant Director to lead a high‑output manufacturing facility serving the automotive, aerospace and advanced electronics sectors in Mexico. The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and carries full profit and loss responsibility for the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all plant operations, engineering, quality and logistics functions to meet strict international output quotas.
• Optimize efficiency and production under local resource and utility constraints.
• Maintain a high‑performance, safe culture on the factory floor while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma programs to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing a Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 advanced manufacturing plant.
• Proven track record overseeing a workforce of 500+ employees with full P&L ownership.
• Bi‑cultural leadership style, comfortable reporting to an overseas C‑suite while managing local operational realities.
