PR & Communications Lead (Life Sciences) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a PR & Communications Lead specialized in life sciences to drive client‑facing public relations and integrated marketing for U.S. based accounts. This fully remote, full‑time position combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, leading client calls and ensuring consistent communication.
• Own end‑to‑end PR projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and media outreach.
• Build and maintain targeted U.S. media lists and pitch journalists, securing coverage.
• Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, op‑eds, corporate messaging, and thought‑leadership content.
• Manage LinkedIn‑focused social media calendars and create content aligned with communication strategies.
• Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling narratives.
• Support integrated communications, including digital marketing, email campaigns, and paid media.
• Use Canva for basic visual content creation and track media coverage and client deliverables.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of agency experience or strong in‑house communications background.
• Demonstrated expertise in media relations and building media lists.
• Strong understanding of the life sciences or healthcare industry.
• Excellent English writing skills and ability to simplify technical content.
• Experience managing multiple accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, client‑facing role.
• Portfolio of writing samples, social content, and press coverage.
