PR / External Communications Manager

About the role

This fully remote position is responsible for shaping and strengthening the public reputation of a global portfolio of digital products. You will develop and execute PR initiatives, thought‑leadership content, and reputation‑management strategies to increase brand awareness and visibility. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on writing, media engagement, and online reputation management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute PR and external communications campaigns that support product reputation and broader marketing goals.
• Design creative, potentially viral PR initiatives from concept through measurement.
• Manage online reputation through paid placements, Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM), branded search monitoring, and related tactics.
• Write, edit, and oversee high‑quality press materials, SEO‑focused articles, thought‑leadership pieces, and executive communications.
• Coordinate user‑review generation and management to reinforce positive brand perception.
• Oversee external vendors, PR agencies, freelancers, and other partners to ensure consistent project delivery.
• Support C‑level executives’ public profiles by preparing content, identifying media opportunities, and coordinating engagements.
• Assist with event planning, messaging, and communications activities as needed.
• Collaborate with Marketing, SEO, Legal, and internal stakeholders on reputation, brand‑protection, and crisis‑communication efforts.

Required profile

• Professional experience in PR, external communications, corporate communications, reputation management, or a closely related field.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities, adaptable to various audiences, channels, and objectives.
• Strong understanding of Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM) and broader online reputation‑management practices.
• Good knowledge of SEO principles and demonstrated ability to create content that supports them.
