Procurement Purchasing Specialist – Manufacturing

About the role

As a Procurement Purchasing Specialist you will support manufacturing operations by ensuring that all materials needed for production are procured on time and in the right quantity. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep the supply chain flowing smoothly and resolve any delivery issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage purchase orders in SAP to meet production and business needs.
• Monitor open purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely confirmations and deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite shipments and resolve shortages, delays, or other delivery problems.
• Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Support procurement activities through data analysis, cost tracking, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2‑4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related function.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers.
• Intermediate English communication skills.
