Production Coordinator – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Coordinator will support daily manufacturing operations by processing production data, generating key performance reports, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Production Planning, Engineering, and QEHS teams to ensure smooth product introductions and sustained operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and present daily operation reports covering production rate, absenteeism, process confirmations, and TPM achievements.
• Calculate weekly production labor hours and provide them to Production Planning.
• Analyze operational big data to identify improvement actions using LEGO Continuous Improvement tools (PDCA, 5 Whys, Practical Problem Solving, Rapid Improvement Events).
• Participate in engineering tests for new product introductions or process changes, ensuring no negative impact on production indicators.
• Support and monitor Lean tools such as 5S, TPM, SMED, and Customer Value to sustain annual performance assessments.
• Lead improvement projects aimed at enhancing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics.
• Oversee integration and implementation of the QEHS system within the area, allocating resources and ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production coordination environment.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous‑improvement methodologies (5S, TPM, SMED, PDCA, 5 Whys).
• Strong analytical abilities to work with large operational data sets.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and communicate results effectively.
