Project Coordinator – Seasonal Contractor

About the role

BIG Language is looking for a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to manage seasonal translation projects from July through October. You will work closely with internal localization teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate fast‑paced translation projects, handling resource allocation and cross‑team collaboration.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed.
• Develop and nurture relationships with external vendors and internal team members.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks on translated materials to ensure compliance with documentation standards.
• Adapt quickly to project updates, shifting priorities, and unexpected delays.

Required profile

• Highly detail‑oriented with the ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Proven adaptability in fast‑changing environments and ability to handle interruptions.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills while remaining a supportive team player.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Tech‑savvy with a willingness to learn new tools quickly.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Computer‑Aided Translation (CAT) tools, preferably MemoQ or similar translation management systems

What we offer

• Seasonal contract (July – October) with hourly pay of $6–$8 USD.
• Standard working hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST, with occasional weekend support.
