Project Engineer – Temporary

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a temporary Project Engineer to join its manufacturing team in San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato. You will be responsible for driving project execution from concept through validation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze and implement engineering projects, preparing detailed supporting documentation.
• Manage project timelines, resources and coordination with Quality, Safety, Procurement and Finance.
• Plan and supervise equipment installation, develop layouts and electronic scopes, and conduct acceptance tests.
• Provide field supervision, coordinate training, monitor work quality and generate validation reports.
• Control project asset inflows/outflows, apply Factory Performance and Reliability standards, and ensure safety compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar project engineering roles.
• English proficiency of at least 80%.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices, health and safety, and quality systems.
