Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a systematic, results‑focused Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of IT and software development initiatives at EPAM. You will act as the central point ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget and aligned with scope, collaborating with engineering, product and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables, and create detailed plans, timelines and milestones aligned with business goals.
• Allocate engineering resources across multiple initiatives and monitor budgets, costs and resource usage.
• Identify risks, dependencies and obstacles early, develop mitigation strategies and alert leadership as needed.
• Serve as the primary contact for project status inquiries and provide transparent progress updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Oversee day‑to‑day project activities to keep milestones on track and coordinate deployment and release activities with engineering and operations teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Experience managing teams of 5+ members and participation in at least two full‑cycle projects.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or CAPM certification is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, Monday.com or Smartsheet.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
