Project Manager P1

About the role

Valeo, a global high‑technology automotive supplier, is looking for a Project Manager (P1 level) to lead OEM/OES projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operationally and functionally manage assigned projects, ensuring KPI achievement for profitability, quality, and production preparation.
• Secure and control project resources, drive associated P2 actors, and resolve project issues through escalation processes.
• Validate team activities, propose timing scenarios, and conduct concept competitions when needed.
• Define project scope, budget, and manage all internal and customer‑driven changes.
• Apply Design‑to‑Cost methodology and prepare CAA/IAR documentation.
• Lead AAI and development of PTMs, set objectives, and ensure performance appraisals.
• Maintain communication with customers, provide progress updates, and prepare governance reports.
• Promote Valeo values, culture, standards, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing OEM/OES projects in the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of project KPIs, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and handle escalations effectively.
• Familiarity with Design‑to‑Cost methodology and project governance processes.
• Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
