Project Manager – Training Center & Apprenticeship Hub

About the role

ENGIE Mexico is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end creation of a new Training Center and Apprenticeship Hub. This greenfield project combines infrastructure construction with the design of technical and managerial training programs, supporting the company’s energy transition mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the physical construction of the Training Center, overseeing design, layout, and building works.
• Coordinate facilities management with architects and contractors to meet technical requirements for workshops, classrooms, and labs.
• Manage the project budget and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Design and develop a comprehensive technical curriculum in partnership with French Energy Formation.
• Create multi‑track training modules for technical experts and emerging managers.
• Implement modern learning tools such as LMS, VR, and simulators.
• Launch the Apprenticeship Hub, establishing partnerships with schools and universities and defining mentorship pathways.
• Oversee operational readiness and daily management of the center once built.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects, preferably with infrastructure or facilities components.
• Background in technical training, learning & development, or similar fields.
• Ability to work from the ground up with a builder mindset.
• Strong leadership skills to manage construction stakeholders and educational teams.
• Fluency in English; French is highly desirable.
