QA Mobile Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a QA Mobile Automation Engineer to ensure the quality of our native iOS and Android applications. You will work remotely from Mexico, collaborating with development and SDET teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high‑performing mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily manual QA testing for native mobile apps (iOS & Android).
• Execute regression testing for bi‑weekly and ad‑hoc releases.
• Validate APIs and integrated upstream/downstream systems.
• Perform security, accessibility, and performance testing on mobile platforms.
• Develop comprehensive test plans aligned with feature development and release cycles.
• Test both Golden Path and Non‑Golden Path user scenarios.
• Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA and update results in TestRails.
• Collaborate with SDETs to define automation priorities.
• Participate in weekly/monthly progress reporting.
• Test on iOS 17.4+ and Android 9+ devices (native apps only).

Required profile

• Proven experience in manual QA testing for native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong knowledge of API testing and validation of integrated systems.
• Hands‑on experience writing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency with TestRails for test management.
• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and reporting.
• Working knowledge of regression testing methodologies and release cycles.
• Familiarity with security and accessibility testing on mobile platforms.
