Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Bosch, you will be the primary point of contact for customers on product quality matters and ensure that new and existing products meet Bosch’s high standards throughout the entire production chain.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single voice to external customers regarding product quality.
• Lead quality assurance activities for new product launches to achieve defined quality targets.
• Ensure product quality from raw material receipt through to final shipping.
• Confirm and improve processes for series production while maintaining compliance.
• Manage customer claims, initiate corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Control handling of non‑conforming material and ensure rapid disposition.
• Coordinate customer quality visits and audits within the plant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency; German is preferred.
• More than 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing or quality, preferably in the automotive sector with direct customer interaction.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to work under pressure and independently.

Required skills

• Electronics manufacturing process knowledge.
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• IATF 16949, VDA standards.
• Problem‑solving methods: 8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma, Shainin.
• Familiarity with automotive customer requirements and B2B portals.
