Quality Auditor

About the role

The Quality Auditor ensures that finished products, sub‑assemblies, and incoming components meet customer and company specifications. Working closely with production teams, you will conduct inspections, document findings, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform final inspections based on inspection plans or 100% checks, verifying compliance with AMETEK and customer specifications.
• Notify supervisors of non‑conforming items and segregate suspect products.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inspection reports and support functional and visual evaluations of finished goods.
• Assist production in evaluating supplier scrap material and determine final disposition.
• Monitor process controls through first‑piece and ongoing inspections, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Help establish acceptance and rejection criteria for processes and products.
• Generate and maintain quality data collection tools such as rejection and control charts.
• Coordinate implementation and maintenance of the company’s quality system.
• Initiate corrective actions, including production shutdowns when necessary, to prevent discrepancies.
• Analyze daily production data to propose practical solutions and communicate issues across departments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience as an auditor or in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience handling measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proactive and responsible attitude.
