Quality Technician – Manufacturing (Querétaro)

About the role

Abbott is expanding its first health‑manufacturing facility in Querétaro and is looking for a Quality Technician to support the Electrophysiology business. The role provides independent evaluation of materials, components, products, and processes within the Quality System, ensuring compliance and helping improve manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, measure, and test raw materials, components, sub‑assemblies, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Verify and audit production processes, including line verification, to prevent quality and manufacturing impacts.
• Execute quality testing of samples with minimal guidance and document results.
• Identify, segregate, and quarantine non‑conforming material according to governing procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers on material handling, quarantine, and disposition.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and support corrective, preventive, and corrective actions for non‑conformances.
• Assist Engineering in validations, testing, troubleshooting, and development of methods to control or improve processes.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently without direct line‑management responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to corporate and divisional policies.
• Capability to collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues.
