R&D Project Management Office Manager

About the role

The R&D Project Management Office (PMO) Manager will lead the Technical Project Management and Productivity Governance team within PepsiCo's R&D Operations in Mexico. Reporting to R&D leadership, the role ensures high‑quality execution of innovation, productivity and brand stewardship projects across the foods business.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project governance, aligning business strategy, project priorities, execution plans and results.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones and risk mitigation.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting and financial controls to ensure transparent investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Plan resources and capacity to optimize critical R&D talent.
• Lead stakeholder communication focused on decision‑making.
• Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships.
• Prioritize and align productivity initiatives, driving the regional R&D productivity agenda.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a Project Management Office or similar function.
• Strong ability to align cross‑functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management, risk assessment and resource planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
