Recruiter – Remote (LATAM & South Africa)

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a full‑cycle Recruiter to join its remote team covering Latin America and South Africa. In this role you will act as a brand ambassador and talent scout, managing the hiring process from intake to offer across sales, design, development and strategy functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment, from initial intake calls with leadership to extending offers.
• Source and engage candidates across Latin America, South Africa and other regions.
• Provide a seamless, respectful candidate experience that reflects Blacksmith’s standards.
• Assess candidates for skills, cultural fit and performance potential.
• Maintain a warm bench of freelance and full‑time talent to enable rapid hiring.
• Keep the applicant tracking system clean, data‑driven and keep hiring managers informed.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a tech, digital or creative agency.
• High accountability mindset with ability to work independently without micromanagement.
• Global perspective comfortable with multiple time zones and cultures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and automated workflow tools.
