Region ME Coordinator

About the role

Joyson Safety Systems is seeking a Region ME Coordinator to lead engineering projects across multiple plants. You will be responsible for the installation, validation, and launch of production lines, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and capacity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate regional engineering projects, including installation, validation, and production line launch.
• Lead RFQ coordination and develop Statements of Work (SOW) with manufacturing sites.
• Track project progress using timelines, KPIs, and executive status reports.
• Manage FAT, SAT, and equipment validations with global engineering, suppliers, and local stakeholders.
• Oversee integration of new machines, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams for line release.
• Provide technical support for capability analysis, time studies, DOE, and process validations.
• Develop and release technical documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Layouts.
• Monitor compliance with Special Characteristics and customer‑specific requirements.
• Maintain documentation control, traceability, and information management.
• Prepare and deliver project status presentations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with suppliers for technical information and raw material samples.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or project management.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
