Remote Bookkeeper for Direct-to-Consumer Health & Wellness Brand

About the role

Hyprwork, a fast‑growing operator of direct‑to‑consumer health and wellness brands, is looking for a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage the daily financial records of its portfolio. This internal finance position is fully remote and reports directly to leadership, providing a clear, up‑to‑date view of cash flow across multiple brands.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the bookkeeping system from scratch using QuickBooks or Xero together with Google Sheets.
• Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts and payment‑processor activity (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Wise).
• Track cash position and deliver daily cash‑flow reports to leadership.
• Support the monthly close by preparing reconciliations, schedules and audit‑ready records.
• Collaborate with Finance and People & Culture on payroll inputs, commissions and bonuses, flagging any anomalies.

Required profile

• Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in an ecommerce or DTC environment with high transaction volume.
• Ability to design and run a bookkeeping system without an ERP, leveraging QuickBooks or Xero and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Comfort working with multiple payment processors and currencies while maintaining a clean ledger.
• High level of accuracy, discretion and proactive communication.
