Retail Designer

About the role

As a Retail Designer you will translate H&M’s brand DNA, commercial objectives and strategic goals into high‑quality architectural and interior design packages for stores worldwide. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to bring retail spaces to life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver architectural drawings, 3D models and visualisations that reflect brand direction.
• Create and review interior design packages and construction documents for various project types.
• Provide innovative solutions to technical and design challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to co‑develop retail concepts and best‑practice improvements.
• Present design proposals clearly and professionally.
• Manage timelines, organise documentation and ensure smooth handover to internal and external parties.
• Monitor project outcomes, analyse successes and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain strong communication with project teams, contractors, consultants and local H&M groups.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in retail architecture or interior design, focusing on commercial space planning.
• Solid understanding of real‑estate project stages from concept to construction and follow‑up.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in complex, stakeholder‑rich environments.
• Goal‑oriented problem solver with strong time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish; international experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture.
• Experience with CAD software for 2D/3D design.
