Retail Sales Associate – Music & Pop Culture

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a huge part of our success by providing the best customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure assigned areas meet visual standards.
• Work the register, process sales transactions and drive add‑on sales using BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive, high‑energy environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and handle merchandise up to 50 lb.
