Security Analyst – Incident Response

About the role

Lyft is looking for a Security Analyst focused on Incident Response to join its rapidly growing security team. You will work at the intersection of speed and precision, helping protect the data of drivers and passengers while supporting engineering teams across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to security incidents, coordinating actions across engineering and other disciplines.
• Analyze and prioritize high‑quality security alerts using a SOC‑less approach.
• Develop and maintain automation tools to improve incident response efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Detection Engineering team to design new security strategies and reduce the attack surface.
• Define and execute threat‑hunting operations to uncover detection gaps and strengthen controls.
• Assess Lyft’s threat landscape to prioritize proactive security measures.
• Build and nurture key partnerships across the organization.
