Security Lead – Site Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Security Lead will direct daily security operations at a Corning site, ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors and company assets. Reporting to site leadership, the role combines hands‑on supervision of security personnel with strategic partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site security officers, providing performance oversight, training and daily operational support.
• Collaborate with site leadership and contract security providers to guarantee effective coverage and service delivery.
• Implement security policies, procedures and employee awareness initiatives to raise site security standards.
• Support investigations, security assessments and site projects while ensuring compliance with security systems and programs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a security or leadership role.
• Previous experience supervising teams or leading security operations.
• Strong decision‑making, sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; professional interaction at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and provide clear direction.
• Positive attitude, strong initiative and results‑oriented work ethic.
