Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support its rapidly growing portfolio of hospitality clients. The role is client‑facing and fast‑paced, requiring ownership of month‑end and year‑end close processes while ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, preparing accurate P&L and Balance Sheet statements.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliation as client volume increases.
• Manage journal entries, financial reporting, and reconciliations across multiple properties or client accounts.
• Integrate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data and improve workflow efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and deliver clear financial information to client stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, full‑cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
