Senior Auditor

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. You will lead audit engagements across financial, operational, compliance and SOX domains, ensuring robust internal controls and delivering actionable insights for a global automotive technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document audit engagements in line with Internal Audit Standards.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks and propose process‑improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare clear audit workpapers, findings and concise audit observations.
• Maintain effective communication with client management and audit team members.
• Handle special assignments on diverse audit projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of accounting, finance or audit experience, including at least 2 years in a public accounting firm.
• Experience in internal audit for a large multinational company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally up to 25 %.
