Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead operational excellence initiatives in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on identifying improvement opportunities, driving Lean projects, and reducing waste across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost reduction.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping and other Lean tools to eliminate waste.
• Analyze process data and KPIs to pinpoint performance gaps.
• Develop and implement standardized work, visual management systems and process controls.
• Support problem‑solving using A3, 5‑Why, Fishbone, PDCA and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, supply chain and maintenance teams.
• Monitor and report project results and KPI trends.
• Drive employee engagement in continuous improvement and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum 5 years experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering or operational excellence.
• Proven track record leading productivity and cost‑reduction projects.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and cultural change initiatives.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, Standardized Work, Visual Management).
• Problem‑solving methodologies (A3, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, 5‑Why, Fishbone).
• Data analysis and KPI management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• ERP systems – preferably SAP.
• Power BI.
• Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred).
