Senior Corporate Auditor

About the role

As a Senior Corporate Auditor at 3M, you will join a global team of curious and innovative professionals. You will lead audits that protect the accuracy of financial statements and strengthen internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead moderate to high‑risk audits, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Participate in audit scoping, risk assessment and the development of audit programs.
• Analyse data, select samples, and test processes to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Document findings, prepare comprehensive reports and present recommendations to management.
• Communicate audit results clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in finance, accounting or internal audit.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, listening, writing).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically or internationally.
• On‑site work model with at least four days per week in the Santa Fe corporate office.

Required skills

• Experience in an internal audit function or Big 4 audit environment.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA or CMA (preferred).
• Strong analytical, prioritisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
