Senior Corporate Auditor – Mexico City

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Auditor to join 3M’s finance team in Mexico City. The role involves leading audits of moderate to high risk areas, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead audits of moderate to high‑risk processes and financial statements.
• Participate in audit scoping, risk assessment and sample selection.
• Analyze data, identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
• Document audit findings and prepare clear reports for management.
• Communicate audit results verbally and in writing to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of experience in finance, accounting or internal audit.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, writing).
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % domestically or internationally.
• On‑site presence at the Santa Fe corporate office at least four days a week.

Required skills

• Experience in internal audit or Big 4 audit environments.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA or CMA (preferred).
• Strong analytical, prioritisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Desirable: Portuguese language proficiency.
