Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will oversee the full‑cycle accounting function, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and perform account reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Execute balance‑sheet and bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with cash‑management activities, including cash‑flow monitoring and account analysis.
• Analyze transactions to confirm proper classification and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate recording of financial data.
• Participate in special accounting projects as assigned by the Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, FP&A, audit, or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Fluent English.
