Senior Manager, Content Operations & QC, LATAM

About the role

Crunchyroll is seeking a Senior Manager, Content Operations & QC to own regional content-release readiness for Latin America. The role sits at the intersection of Global Programming, Content Operations, Localization/Dubbing Operations, Product, Curation and regional GTM teams, ensuring fans receive the right content, in the right language, at the right time and at the expected quality bar. It covers operational readiness for subtitled and dubbed releases, including schedule accuracy, language availability, metadata and asset readiness, quality-control escalation and launch monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Own the LATAM content-readiness view across simulcasts, dub drops, catalog launches and priority title moments, keeping dependencies, owners, dates and risks visible and managed.
• Coordinate with Global Programming, Content Operations and Localization/Dubbing Operations to validate language availability, publishing schedules, holdbacks, delivery status and market-specific requirements for Spanish LATAM and Portuguese Brazil.
• Establish and maintain a regional QC process covering subtitle/dub availability, language mapping, metadata, artwork, episode sequencing, playback readiness and other fan-facing content issues.
• Monitor priority launches, triage content issues, coordinate escalation paths and drive issues to resolution with global and regional partners.
• Maintain accurate operational data across systems such as Airtable, content schedules, trackers and downstream planning tools.
• Partner with Curation, Lifecycle, Brand, Partnerships, Customer Experience, Product and GTM teams so marketing plans reflect actual content readiness.
• Define handoffs, service levels and operating rhythms between LATAM and global teams, and build reporting on release readiness, localization status, launch issues and operational performance.
• Use launch retrospectives and root-cause analysis to improve workflows and reduce recurring defects.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in content operations, media supply chain, streaming operations, localization operations, broadcast operations or digital media QC.
• Strong understanding of episodic release workflows, subtitles, dubbing, metadata, asset delivery, publishing schedules and content-quality processes.
• Experience across multiple markets and languages, ideally including Spanish LATAM and Portuguese Brazil.
• Program-management skills for high-volume release calendars, dependencies and fast-moving escalations.
• Attention to detail, a strong quality mindset and good judgment on what matters to fans.
• Strong communication skills in a matrixed, regional-global environment.
• Comfort using data to identify recurring issues and measure performance.
