Senior Manager, Operations – Freight Forwarding

About the role

RXO is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations to lead its Freight Forwarding services in Monterrey, Mexico. You will provide strategic direction, drive efficiency, and identify growth opportunities across transportation, customs, and warehousing functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define requirements and implement new strategies for transportation, customs, and warehouse operations.
• Develop operational solutions and establish business controls to support regional activities.
• Supervise the Freight Forwarding team to meet service level standards.
• Identify and execute customer cost‑saving initiatives while achieving budget and operating income goals.
• Lead HR development through training, succession planning, and performance management.
• Manage account relationships, recognize operational risks, and support legal dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, customs, and warehousing (domestic or international).
• Working knowledge of transportation, customs, warehousing, distribution, inventory planning, network analysis, and materials management.
• Experience with financial management and business integration.
• Availability to work extended hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and travel to multiple locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or an MBA is a plus.
