Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development and implementation of innovative mechanical design solutions for product enclosures. You will be responsible for ensuring quality, cost efficiency and safety while supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design projects and manage deliverables to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Create and test prototypes to validate feasibility and functionality.
• Analyze customer requirements and document standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate design aspects.
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation in SAP, PDM and PLM systems.
• Use FMEA, DFMEA, DFA, DFM and Six Sigma tools to optimize products.
• Conduct design reviews, identify risks and manage engineering change requests.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with UL/CSA, IEC and other standards.
• Mentor junior associates and guide their professional development.
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and technical data packages.
• Perform GD&T and 2D/3D stack‑up analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering and product development.
• Proven expertise in 3D CAD software such as NX or SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of Model‑Based Definition (MBD) and Product Manufacturing Information (PMI).
• Experience with SAP, PDM and PLM environments.
