Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Design & Field Support

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide product engineering support, drive quality improvements, and lead complex projects across our manufacturing sites. The role combines field issue resolution, design development, and certification management to ensure safe, cost‑competitive products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for field quality issues and deliver timely, cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate BOMs, drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Lead mid‑ to high‑complexity programs with minimal supervision.
• Develop and execute test and qualification plans for product improvements.
• Secure UL, ETL, and AHRI agency certifications for commercial products.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with product management to introduce new standard options.
• Develop computer models to simulate system and component performance.
• Drive continuous improvement based on end‑user feedback and field data.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a product/design engineer.
• 5 years of experience implementing product changes.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid flow, thermodynamics, and HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Project‑management and parametric design experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Fluent English (minimum 90%).
