Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android) – Remote (Mexico)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our multicultural team and work remotely from anywhere in Mexico. You will develop and ship features for iHerb’s iOS and Android applications used by millions worldwide, leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for iOS and/or Android apps using AI‑driven tooling.
• Participate in mobile modernization, improving app architecture and platform capabilities.
• Write maintainable, well‑tested code and manage feature lifecycle from design to app store release.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to integrate APIs and new product experiences.
• Utilize Claude Code or equivalent AI tools daily for code generation, refactoring, and test automation.
• Contribute to cross‑platform tooling and shared component libraries as the mobile platform evolves.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Senior‑level expertise delivering production‑ready mobile features with minimal guidance.
• Daily hands‑on use of AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Full‑stack awareness and ability to contribute across different layers of the technology stack.
• Proven ownership of features from specification through deployment and ongoing operations.

Required skills

• Swift and iOS development.
• Kotlin and Android development.
• Experience with MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Cross‑platform experience with React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform (strong plus).
• AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• .NET/C#, Go, Python, Java.
• React, MS SQL Server, Azure, AWS.
• Automated testing, code review, CI/CD pipelines.
