Senior Project Manager – Hotel Construction (Caribbean)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex hotel construction projects across the Caribbean, with a primary focus on Jamaica. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, budget and schedule targets while adhering to international hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle delivery from pre‑construction through handover.
• Manage general contractors, consultants and vendors across multiple jurisdictions.
• Control budgets, approve capital expenditures and review cost estimates.
• Ensure construction quality and compliance with hospitality standards.
• Facilitate client meetings, reporting and stakeholder alignment.
• Support design optimisation and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Navigate regulatory environments and cross‑border logistics.
• Champion health, safety and environmental protocols on‑site.
• Lead project close‑out and transition to hotel operators.

Required profile

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including hotel development in the Caribbean.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
• PMI or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and manage remote delivery.
