Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. You will act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams, translating requirements into actionable tasks and overseeing their execution.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Contract Manager, Project Controller, Lead Engineer and core team to define scope and tasks.
• Manage all customer communication, documentation and deliverables such as Functional Design Specifications, drawings and Acceptance Test Plans.
• Schedule and lead contract review meetings during the kick‑off phase.
• Interpret and manage contract changes with support from the Contract Manager.
• Collaborate with planners/schedulers to build, communicate and maintain the project schedule.
• Supervise overall project budget, schedule and any variances throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure smooth hand‑over to Customer Service and external customers at project close‑out.
• Coordinate safety compliance with Site Manager and EHS&S group.
• Conduct risk and opportunity management, lessons‑learned assessments and final close‑out reports.
• Report status to program, portfolio and senior management and prepare monthly performance workbooks.

Required profile

• Proven track record in managing large‑scale engineering or industrial projects.
• Strong ability to organize and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience handling contract administration, change management and customer liaison.
• Demonstrated competence in risk, opportunity and cost control.
• Excellent communication skills to address customer and partner concerns.
