Senior Project Manager, Laboratory

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Laboratory to work from home in Mexico. You will design and analyse clinical trials, interpret complex medical data, and help advance innovative treatments and therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact for ICON Central Laboratories (ICL) services, overseeing study setup and day‑to‑day management.
• Attend and represent ICL at client meetings, providing regular study updates.
• Manage studies in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Communicate progress to clients and internal project‑management leadership.
• Represent Project Management in internal inter‑departmental and inter‑divisional meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
• Solid experience in clinical laboratory operations and project management.
• Strong leadership ability to mentor and train junior project managers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and internal representation.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities to manage documentation, timelines, and budgets.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
