Senior Red Team Security Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Red Team Security Consultant you will join Mandiant’s Red Team Consulting practice to assess and advise clients on technical and process‑based security controls across diverse environments. You will lead adversarial emulation exercises, conduct comprehensive penetration tests, and help clients improve their resilience against modern cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Perform red, purple and assumed‑breach assessments, including ransomware readiness reviews.
• Execute external and internal wireless, web, mobile, and embedded system security tests.
• Develop and use custom tools, scripts, and offensive techniques to emulate threat actors.
• Conduct threat analysis, social‑engineering engagements, and threat‑intel integration.
• Produce clear documentation, reports, and presentations for internal teams and customers.
• Share knowledge through internal presentations, research, and tool creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on pen‑testing and red‑team experience covering network, web, mobile, cloud, and social engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to travel up to 30%.
• Mexican citizenship (required by local labor law).
• Preferred offensive‑security certifications (OSCE, OSEP, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT, INF, or relevant SANS courses).
• Experience assessing or implementing security controls and strong written/verbal communication.
