Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Fountain is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its fast‑growing engineering team. You will work on a leading enterprise platform that helps organizations manage frontline workers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain new product features and enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to turn requirements into user‑centered web applications.
• Review code and partner with other engineers to ensure high‑quality implementations.
• Implement RESTful API endpoints and add functionality to the Express/Node.js backend, extending the MongoDB data model.
• Ensure product reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise applications for speed, scalability and usability.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve the user experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Proven track record delivering product‑oriented software in an enterprise environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a solid foundation in data structures and architecture.
• Experience working in globally distributed, cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to operate with autonomy and deliver creative solutions under uncertainty.
