Senior Technical Program Owner

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior Technical Program Owner to lead execution of a multi‑pillar program within the IT Asset Management team. The role drives end‑to‑end delivery across hardware, software, digital and automation workstreams, ensuring work is well defined, sized, prioritized and tracked.

Key responsibilities

• Own execution and delivery across multiple scrum teams, maintaining clear definitions, accurate estimates and active tracking in JIRA.
• Establish and enforce program standards for story quality, refinement, planning and closure.
• Document progress, close work in program management tools, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate dependencies with internal Mastercard stakeholders and external partners.
• Provide structure, oversight and accountability to ensure predictable delivery.

Required profile

• Hands‑on execution leader comfortable operating in ambiguous environments.
• Strong ability to work independently, bring discipline and drive results without constant direction.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Experience leading multi‑team programs in an IT or technology setting.
