SFMC Email Tech Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled SFMC Email Tech Developer to manage, execute and optimise email and mobile campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The role will be based in Guadalajara with a hybrid work model, collaborating closely with marketing and data teams to deliver high‑performing, data‑driven communications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, build and test email communications using Content Builder, Data Extensions, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Mobile Studio.
• Design multi‑channel customer journeys in Journey Builder, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for Automation Studio, Data Extensions, Mobile Studio and related SFMC tools.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data manipulation within SFMC databases.
• Program dynamic, data‑driven emails and landing pages with AMPscript, SSJS and API integrations.
• Promote industry best practices in development, testing and accessibility.
• Collaborate with marketing and data teams to translate campaign requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to email development best practices, including personalisation, segmentation and deliverability optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing email and mobile solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data‑driven marketing, journey orchestration and deliverability optimisation.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a cross‑functional team.
