Shipping Supervisor

About the role

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the export of finished goods to various divisions and customers, ensuring smooth coordination of carrier movements across the US and Mexico, and maintaining compliance with customs and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with the logistics department in Canada via email.
• Coordinate carrier movements for shipments to the United States and Mexico.
• Process and ship rejected items and obtain purchase order specifications.
• Ensure all paperwork is prepared for US and Mexican customs clearance.
• Supervise departmental personnel and assign tasks as needed.
• Perform safety‑related activities and support compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Identify and report quality or compliance issues and assist with corrective actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a stockroom or material shipping environment.
• Proficiency in English (basic) and familiarity with SAP.
