Shipping Supervisor

About the role

The Shipping Supervisor oversees the shipping department, manages staffing and schedules and works closely with internal partners to maintain service standards. The role drives shipping accuracy, customer satisfaction, inventory control and compliance with transportation and safety requirements, while supporting process improvements across the function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shipping operations so work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Manage daily schedules and supervise shipping staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to support service levels and shipment readiness.
• Train team members on shipping procedures, documentation and service standards.
• Monitor shipping quality, delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory and shipping supplies to support daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards and company procedures.
• Develop and implement shipping improvements and process optimizations.
• Use Microsoft Office and shipping software to track activity and support reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse management.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software.
• Nice to have: experience with shipping management systems, background in inventory control or logistics coordination, and familiarity with KPI-driven team management and reporting.
