Software Engineer – AI‑Driven Fintech Platform

About the role

We are a Y Combinator‑backed fintech building the biggest AI‑native consumer platform in Mexico and Latin America. As a Software Engineer you will own the development of key product functions, working on both backend and frontend while collaborating closely with product, growth and risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the tech development for a specific app function, including backend and/or frontend work.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead, Head of Growth and Head of Risk to brainstorm, prioritize and deliver projects.
• Implement monitoring, administration, and scaling solutions for the application.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to build indicators and data sets for modeling.
• Maintain a high development velocity while ensuring the architecture can scale rapidly.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proactive problem‑solver able to work autonomously and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Comfortable balancing speed of delivery with long‑term scalability.
