Software Engineer – Full Stack & Cloud (3+ yrs)

About the role

Qualcomm is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud‑edge software solutions that power next‑generation cellular networks. You will work with a talented team to create high‑performance, scalable applications that meet demanding customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex algorithms for cellular network problems.
• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications, focusing on both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with hardware, architecture, test, and cross‑functional teams to deliver system‑level software solutions.
• Build, test, and deploy micro‑services using Java, Kotlin, Python and related frameworks.
• Ensure code quality through Clean Code, SOLID principles, and automated testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of full‑stack development experience, with strong frontend expertise.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Server‑side languages: Java, Kotlin, Python.
• Backend frameworks: SpringBoot, Flask, FastAPI.
• Frontend frameworks: Vue.js, React.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Vertica, Athena, Snowflake.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Micro‑services architecture, Docker, Kubernetes (k8s).
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
