Software Engineer II (JavaScript & TypeScript)

About the role

Honeywell’s Security and Access Solutions business is building a cloud‑based SaaS unified security platform that combines access control, video and monitoring. As a Software Engineer II you will join the continuous delivery team, taking ownership of frontend features and collaborating on design and architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust frontend components using React and TypeScript.
• Integrate UI with backend RESTful services and handle asynchronous data flows.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation and sprint execution.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across the web application stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews.
• Refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience building modern web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with React.js, including hooks and state management.
• Ability to consume RESTful APIs and write unit/integration tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
