Software Engineer III - C#

About the role

McDonalds Digital Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer III to help shape the future of its global technology platforms. You will work closely with Product Management and Architecture teams to deliver high‑impact features that improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full agile development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Define, design, and implement product features end‑to‑end, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Apply software engineering best practices to maintain high code quality and security standards.
• Collaborate in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment, focusing on the most valuable priorities.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in C#.
• At least 2 years contributing to system architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver high‑quality results in a fast‑moving setting.
• Demonstrated leadership in engineering, driving operational precision and best practices.
