Software Engineer, Multiplatform Server Driven UI

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Multiplatform team and support the Server Driven UI (SDUI) initiative. You will work on server‑side solutions that enable rich, interactive native experiences across Android, iOS, Web and emerging surfaces, collaborating closely with back‑end and mobile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side components for the SDUI framework, including Elements and xUIKit.
• Integrate server‑driven UI updates with mobile clients to ensure consistent, high‑performance experiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as YouTube, Search and Maps to deliver platform‑wide solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of accessible technologies and performance optimizations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• Mexican citizenship as required by local labor regulations.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD, 2+ years mobile application development, strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and back‑end development, experience with accessible technologies.
