Software Engineer – Remote (Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑impact backend services that power secure, scalable digital financial solutions. The role is fully remote and part of an international engineering team working at the intersection of modern finance, blockchain, and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain robust backend services.
• Own software components from architecture through production monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Build secure, fault‑tolerant, and scalable solutions for large user bases.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, including microservices, cloud‑native, and distributed systems.
• Apply modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Utilize Event‑Driven Architecture and Domain‑Driven Design to create maintainable systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
• Passion for solving complex technical problems in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and working on security‑critical, reliable, and scalable systems.
• Experience with backend development and at least one programming language, preferably Python.
