Solutions Engineer

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with sales and channel teams, understand customer needs, and drive adoption of Snowflake’s data platform. The role blends technical expertise with business acumen to deliver compelling demos, proofs of concept, and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at customer sites.
• Work hands‑on with customers to demonstrate value, identify use cases, and guide them from demo to successful implementation.
• Showcase Snowflake innovations and explain the business impact of new features.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive solutions, and complementary technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging.

Required profile

• Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Broad experience with large‑scale database, data‑warehouse, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Hands‑on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
• Ability to translate customer business problems into Snowflake use cases.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
