Station Operations Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Station Operations Leader to coordinate and lead daily activities at our Experimental Station in Querétaro, Mexico. The role ensures smooth execution of field, greenhouse, personnel, and administrative tasks while supporting research and breeding programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field and greenhouse operations.
• Supervise and develop operational teams.
• Manage resources, schedules, and operational priorities.
• Lead R&D weekly meetings and breeding crop wrap‑up meetings.
• Support decision‑making, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with local and international teams.
• Monitor operational performance, budgets, and resource utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Crop Science, Protected Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural operations, greenhouse and field production, personnel supervision, team leadership, and operational planning.
• Strong knowledge of crop production, greenhouse operations, GAP, KPI monitoring, and budget control.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
